About Stephan

Stephan van de Kant is a specialist in corporate law, corporate litigation, and insolvency. He advises investors, businesses, and (healthcare) institutions on advisory matters and legal proceedings. He frequently represents shareholders, supervisory boards, and directors in disputes within corporate structures.

Stephan has a particular interest in insolvency law, where he is involved as a trustee and advisor in numerous insolvencies and reorganizations of companies facing financial distress. He served as trustee in the bankruptcies of, among others, BoerCroon, e-bike manufacturer QWIC, and the retail chain Hudson’s Bay. His practice also focuses on financing matters, especially regarding the establishment and enforcement of securities.
