Victor Bouman specialises in IT law and data protection. He advises software developers, SaaS providers, platforms and other IT-driven businesses, but is just as keen to put his expertise to work for users of IT solutions. He advises clients on matters including licence agreements, privacy issues (such as data transfers and data breaches), AI regulation, and collaborations, and represents clients in disputes. Clients also turn to him for matters relating to copyright, trademark law and media law.
In addition, Victor has a particular interest in steward-ownership, a corporate form in which mission comes first, rather than profit. He guides companies that want to transition to steward-ownership, or that wish to adopt this model from the outset. Partly through this work, he has also built up broad expertise in corporate law. Finally, Victor is pleased to work for animal welfare organisations, advising them on matters such as certification and advertising, among others.
Victor’s clients value his plain language, practical advice and solution-oriented approach.
